Job Description

In this role, you will be helping to maintain the smooth flow of shipments across the Netherlands. You will independently manage the loading and unloading processes, using provided lists to verify quantities and check for visible damage. Any issues will be reported to the shift supervisor. Your role also involves sorting shipments into designated postcode areas and maintaining order within these zones. You will carefully load shipments into delivery vehicles based on loading instructions using an EPT. Therefore, you will be receiving an EPT course (1 half day) before your start, fully compensated by ISW. You'd be handling all sorts of products including one area with some sensitive / hazardous good (ADR). The role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate effectively in tight spaces. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The company is based in Duiven and is a well-established logistics provider specializing in the distribution of pallets and packages across the Netherlands. With over 100 years of experience, it operates a modern distribution center with numerous loading docks. More than 160 motivated employees provide their 24-hour service, ensuring timely deliveries. The company is located in Duiven, on a 30 minute bike or +/- 35 minute bus drive. What perhaps is good to mention is there is an almost 100:0 ratio male/female in the warehouse. 

Job Requirements

• You are reliable, proactive and responsible.
• Team-player mindset with great communication skills
• No experience in logistics is required, but you need to be willing to learn
• You see yourself confidently learning and driving an electric pallet truck
• You are living in Arnhem 
• Available for at least 6 months and can work at least 12 hours, so 3 shifts per week. 
• Available to work during weekdays (Monday to Friday). 

Hours & Salary

The evening shifts are 16:00 to 20:00 (Monday to Friday). They might sometimes start slightly sooner and end later, this will always be in communication with the company.

Night shifts are from 04:00 to 09:00 (Monday to Friday) and are not mandatory.

Your salary:
€13.86 at 21 years or older
€11.50 at 20 years
€9.98 at 19 years
€9.73 at 18 years

If your one-way commute is longer than 10 km, you get €0,23 per km travel reimbursement.

You will be receiving an EPT course (1 half day) before your start, fully compensated by ISW.

Additional Information

You will go through 3 rounds of application process:

• Round 1: CV Screening.
• Round 2: Offline Interview with ISW.
• Round 3: Offline Interview with the Company + drive one round on EPT
